There are four ways in which to advertise in Skywings magazine:

display advertising (in the main editorial pages of the magazine)
classified display advertising (in one of six classifications near the back of the magazine)
classified lineage advertising (for the sales of items by private individuals only)
pre-printed loose inserts (printed brochure/catalogue distributed with the magazine)

Rates quoted do not include VAT which should be added at 17.5%.

Important note: The supply of artwork is entirely the advertisers responsibility. Any agreement or commission undertaken by Fargher Design Ltd or any other agency to supply such artwork is an entirely separate undertaking and completely unrelated to the sale of advertising space in Skywings magazine.

Advertising rates - classified display section
Rates quoted do not include VAT which should be added at 17.5%.

Series discounts: 5 insertions: -5%, 10 insertions: -10%.

Advertising rates - classified lineage ads

Private classified adverts (max 30 words):
£10 for BHPA members and Skywings subscribers
£20 for non members (includes VAT @ 17.5%).

Series booking discounts: 3 insertions: -5%

Advertising rates - loose inserts (UK Distribution only)

For an illustration of costs, we will need to know the size, weight, format and number of inserts you wish to distribute. Please call us to discuss.

Important notes:

1. All copy printed on the inserts must be approved by the BHPA before the 19th day of the month prior to publication. All inserts are governed by our conditions of acceptance.
2. All inserts must be supplied no larger than A4, otherwise we reserve the right to fold as necessary and charge extra accordingly.
3. We reserve the right to refuse any insert which is uneconomic for postage reasons.
4. Inserts must be delivered to the printers or mailing house by the specified date.

Deadlines

1. New bookings, cancellations and amendments to bookings - 7th day of the month prior to publication. EG: bookings for the June issue should be made on or before the 7th of May.
2. Copy (images, graphics and text etc) by the 14th of the month prior to publication.
3. Pre-printed loose inserts - 19th day of the month before publication. To be supplied directly to our mailing house, with one copy sent to the editor by the same deadline

Supplying copy or artwork

High quality JPEG or PDF files at 300dpi at physical size (PDF files must have all fonts and graphics securely embedded), supplied by e-mail to sales@skywingsmag.com. Supplying copy only (text & images)

You can supply text, photos and graphics, etc by e-mail. Make sure that any attached image files you send are at 300dpi at physical size in JPEG format. If in doubt, contact us on 020 7193 9133 or E-mail: sales@skywingsmag.com

Payment terms

Unless otherwise arranged with Fargher Design Ltd, all valid bookings must be accompanied by payment card details as follows:

1. Name as it appears on the card
2. Full postal address of card holder
3. E-mail address (for your receipt)
4. Card number (see impoartant safety advice below)
5. Security code (last three digits on back of card)
6. Expiry date
7. Issue date (if applicable, valid from)
8. Issue number (if applicable)

Important advice: for security reasons, you should never send your payment card number in a single e-mail. Preferably, you should send by an alternative means (telephone, fax or post), but if you must use e-mail, split the number into at least two or more e-mails.

Note: Fargher Design Ltd reserve the right to charge interest at 7.5% per month on all accounts overdue by more than 30 days from invoice date.

Conditions of acceptance

All publicity advertising the sale or hire of new and used aircraft or the training of pilots must conform to the BHPA's terms & conditions of acceptance as set out in the latest edition of the printed magazine and reproduced on this web site. Advertisements must not be misleading, untruthful or indecent. The publisher (BHPA Ltd) reserves the right to withdraw any advertisement it deems to be unsuitable for publication.
